RR10 Report

*RR10 Race...8? Hursley!* 

Firstly, a HUGE thank you to all who have come to any race in what has been a challenging season. Its been wonderful to see you all. 

For many of us, this race is bittersweet because it signals the beginning of the end of summer. But the performances have been extremely sweet indeed! All of you performed incredibly, congratulations to you all! 

A few shout outs as the final scores are on the doors -

The ladies A team came 6th overall and the top 3 lady finishers over the year were: 

Bex Stark with an incredible 6th place 

Joanne Labram was a lucky 13 

And number 22... was erm.... Me. 

Jo also came third in her age category.

A MASSIVE congratulations to Mel Ford who won her age category and sewed it up at Wide Lane

For the gents 

The Men’s A team came 5th

And the top 3 male finishers were: 

Jacob Ainslie with an amazing 5th place

Nick W with an extremely impressive 9th 

And Wayne Andrews with 39! 

A huge shout out to Ernie Deadman who came 3rd in his age cat. 

ALL of you should be congratulated and a total of 31 of you ran 5 qualifying races - 13 ladies and 18 men.

I feel it would be remiss of me not to mention the incredible performance of my co-captain Robert Jones who improved his league standing by a WHOPPING 65 places this year AND crucially... beat the OTHER Rob Jones 🤣🤣🤣

It has been a pleasure having you all. We look forward to seeing you all for more heat, more hills and definitelt more cake in 2027.
